your future, so it's different from counselling or therapy which examine
your past. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I'M BEING COACHED? You'll have an initial consultation to discuss what you'd like to get out of coaching. Most
clients have two telephone coaching sessions per month. During your coaching
session you'll be asked questions which are designed to stretch you and
help you think about your life in new ways. There'll be homework between
sessions, and you'll end up doing much more than you ever would on your
own. Many
people find they can open up more in a telephone coaching session than
they ever would face to face. It also cuts down on wasted time because
you don't have to travel to a meeting and sessions can be totally at your
convenience.
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO YOU COACH? Joanne says: "I specialise in coaching people who work in the media and creative industries. Having worked in the media for many years as a journalist and TV producer, I have a particular understanding of the challenges people in the media face. Former clients include freelance journalists, PR professionals, former MP's, BBC staff; TV presenters, broadcasters and writers. "Generally, my clients are people in their early twenties to forties who have had a successful career so far, but feel that there is something missing in their lives. On the surface they may seem to have it all, but in their hearts they know that there are things about their life they want to change. They are ready to move to the next level in their life and career. "I also work with business people who want to improve their media skills."
There is no charge for your initial consultation. After that we will work out a time for regular coaching phone calls. I work with most clients for around 4 - 10 sessions, which lasts around 2 - 6 months. Below are the options for regular coaching sessions. Most clients find it useful to start with 3 sessions a month (Gold service) for the first 2-3 months, then change to 2 sessions a month (Silver or Bronze service) after that. If you have another option in mind which is not listed here please contact me directly to discuss it. I also offer one-off kickstart sessions. Fees for coaching are an investment in yourself and your future. They are generally less than you'd pay for a dress you may never wear or a night out you might not even enjoy. minute telephone session or 2 hour face to face session (in London or

by email after the session.
